1999-2017
During this time my work predominantly consisted of public art commissions, artist residencies, exhibitions, school art projects and specialist workshops; working in wood, wire and stone.
I moved into ceramics in 2016 and have specialised in ceramic sculpture since 2017
Selected exhibitions and commissions:
2016: Book Tree (large oak tree turned into a book library) and wooden seating area. Commissioned by and for “Old Town Bloom Community Garden” Runcorn, Cheshire.
2015: Messengers and Promises. Joint exhibition with Kate Herbert at Ordsall Hall, Salford.
2009: Stone Heads. Three carved sandstone heads based on a Viking, Saxon Warrior and Ethelfleda – now sited at The Brindley Arts Centre, Runcorn. Commissioned by Halton Borough Council.
2009: Animal exhibition, Stroud House Gallery, Gloucestershire.
2008-2009: Art in Nature, Holywell, Flintshire. (Artist Residency).
2006: Alice in Wonderland inspired wood sculptures, commissioned by Halton Borough Council as a gift for their twin town in China, Tongling (now sited at Tongling).
2000 and 2003: Hebden Bridge Sculpture Trail, Yorkshire. (Artist Residencies).
